The SHARE Programme

True to the Sembawang Spirit, we actively contribute to the Singapore’s Community Chest’s SHARE Programme. The shipyard adopts a 1-for-1 policy, where we match every dollar contribution made by employees. On an average, we contribute $60,000 annually to Community Chest through this meaningful scheme. As part of a special commemorative fund raising programme when we celebrated our 35th Anniversary in 2003, we further enhanced our contribution to an additional $5 for every $3 contributed by employees. In recognition of our efforts, we were awarded the SHARE Programme Gold Award for year 2003. We were awarded the SHARE Corporate Platinum award for the yard’s contribution towards Community Chest in 2005.
